Here we detail some of our past performance-based events, along with the types of evaluation undertaken.

GM foods: forum theatre event

23/06/03 - a bar in Aldwych.

At this event, forum theatre was used to engage the audience in discussion about genetically modified food. Actors performed as short scenario about issues surrounding GM foods. The audience were then invited to watch again but interrupt the performance when they wished to raise a point. There were also a number of invited experts in the audience to give information and opinion as appropriate.

The following types of evaluation were used: in depth observation, audience profile.

Skin Deep Circus

22/11/03 and 23/11/03 - Fellows Room, the Science Museum.

This event experimented with using a puppet production as a stimulus for dialogue. The puppet show was followed by a panel debate about issues surrounding normality / abnormality.

The following types of evaluation were used: in depth observation, speaker interviews, focus group with a strand of the target audience.
