Drugs to treat manic depression or attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) can change the brains chemistry to make people more normal. But what effect do they have on personality? Do they benefit the individual, or society, enabling those on drugs to fit in? Join our panel for a discussion on the merits and drawbacks of medicating our brains.

This event is one of a series exploring the future of brain research to coincide with the Meeting of Minds, European Citizens' Deliberation and is funded by the Wellcome Trust.

Arrive early to enjoy a wide variety of delicious food and drink in our air-conditioned d.cafe; or make use of our free Internet access in the d.lounge.

If you can't make it to the event, why not watch it live over the Web.
