This new comedy show takes an irreverent look at the science stories hitting the headlines this month. Blending stand-up comedy with music, spoof and multimedia, the Punk Scientists bring you the cutting-edge, the controversial and the quirky.
Join Punk Science for a whirlwind tour of the latest, greatest and just plain strangest science news stories of May, including:
- The flu threat from our feathered friends
- Missing links between fish, fingers and flight
- Our first glimpse of Earth's twisted sister
- Science's solutions to fat thighs, fetid foods and flatulence
Plus, meet the scientists behind the headlines. Derk-Jan Dijk from the Surrey Sleep Research Centre and Colin Wilson from Oxford University's Planetary Physics Department join the Punks on the sofa and take the 60-second challenge.
