Comedians pair up with scientists to uncover the myths and science of sex.

Leave romance at the door and join our whip-cracking quiz-mistress as she controls action-packed buzzer rounds. We’ll be exploring sexology and its journey to expose the orgasm, sexual function and how sex and culture impact on each other. Guess the use of mystery objects from the Science Museum collections.

Introducing the contestants…

The inimitable Rudi Lickwood will be taking no prisoners with his razor-sharp wit and salacious humour. He’ll leave no stone unturned in his quest to overturn taboos with his playful and upfront humour.

Sexologist Petra Boynton will be revealing all… her knowledge. A skilled and much sought-after agony aunt, she’s no blushing stranger to the endless sex queries of cyber-surfers. Her research interests include the psychology of sex and relationships, evaluating sex research methods, assessing public sexual attitudes and the effect of the media on sex.

Comedian John Ryan proves to be irresistible with his witty take on men’s sexual-health misdemeanours. His endless knowledge of the world knows no limits and he’ll keep you guessing which devastating piece of random information he’ll be drawing on next in his arsenal of comedy weapons.

Our disciplined quiz-mistress Timandra Harkness will have a firm grip on the challenging rounds. Watch in awe as she comperes the proceedings and the quick-fire quips fly out from her hip-slung comedy belt. She’ll be drawing on her extensive research into the hypothesis that science can be funny. Test out her preliminary data and see how accurate her findings are.

Find out the science behind sex and stimulate the mind as well as the body this Valentine’s Day.
