Your brain is the most powerful computing tool on the planet, but we still don’t fully understand how this amazing organ works. NEURObotics, a new exhibition at the Science Museum, shows how medical technology can give us innovative ways to understand and use our brains.

Imagine being able to play computer games just using the power of your mind, or reading someone else’s innermost thoughts. Can you really find out if someone’s lying by using a brain scan? Can you improve a person’s creativity or memory by manipulating the brain? Are these technologies real or are they just science fiction pipe dreams? Join us at the Dana Centre to find out.

You’ll hear from the scientists who are expanding the frontiers of brain science and technology, and find out how their research could shape the future of thinking. You’ll also be able to try out some interactive computer demos that show the power of the mind in action. Finally you can take part in a discussion with our panel and the audience. And feel free to ask the biggest question of all – should we be manipulating our brains in this way?
