What are vocal cords and what do they look like? Vocal coach Jeremy Fisher’s vocal cords will be seen in action on the big screen. He’ll talk you through his, and your, vocal anatomy. ENT surgeon Tom Harris goes into more depth about what could potentially go wrong with the vocal cords and how exactly they work.
Vocal coach Gillyanne Kayes will discuss her research into singers’ voiceboxes. And how technology is used to find out how singers vocal cords deal with ‘the break’ as part of their technique. Speech therapist Sara Harris explains her work with singers in the voice clinic.
Meanwhile, Carrie and David Grant coach you to singing success by demonstrating the basics of singing, helping you to improve your singing voice before the final group sing along. There’s karaoke to follow …
