Bored of singing in the same style? Want to expand your repertoire? Then you’re ready for a vocal makeover. Whether it’s pop, rock, musical or country, this event looked at how you get your anatomy to create these sounds... and how technology can help you get something new from your voice.

Steve Gurevitz ran workshops on the technology of sound recording, showing how your voice can be electronically transformed, turning a ‘pop dud’ into a ‘pop diva’. Scientist David Howard demonstrated the voice box’s inner workings and personality. And there was the opportunity to pick up new skills in singing from voice coach supremo Mary Hammond.
