This time round the Science Museum’s very own comedy team take on the pursuit of happiness. They can’t guarantee to make you happy, as they can’t even guarantee that they’ll be happy themselves. But we might just find out what happiness is all about and what the fuss is.
Join the Punk Scientists as they explore how our brains work and pinpoint which neurotransmitters help us feel happy. How can food make us feel chipper? And does exercise really help or is it just a bit of a knees-up that’s the answer. They’ll discover whether being happy is all it’s cracked up to be, and why it’s actually quite healthy to be miserable.
All of this, and possibly the most offensive drawing of a stick man ever shown in a public place.
The Punk Science team will use comedy, music and live demonstrations in order to make the process as painless as possible.
