Climate change is happening faster than anyone predicted. With the eighteenth annual UN conference on climate change underway in Doha, what hope is there for a future free from catastrophic climate change?
Join a range of experts in climate and activism to consider the many solutions to climate change that are available to us today. A panel discussion will explore how these solutions could be implemented and why they haven't happened yet. Then, interactive workshops will give you the chance to dig deeper into these issues and bring your own ideas to the table, led by the UKYCC and Healthy Planet. What do you think we need to do next?
Neva Frecheville (Chair), Lead Policy Analyst at CAFOD
Kat Watts, International Climate Change Policy Advisor, WWF
Louisa Leadlay, Campaigner working on the 'Rights of the Child' campaign, UNICEF
Brett Scott, Activist and ex-Broker, Finance Lab
This event is organised by the UK Youth Climate Coalition and Healthy Planet. It is aimed at everyone who wants to understand more about why we haven't solved the climate issue yet and how we could better tackle this global problem.
